Saya approached the ruined castle of the nercomancer who reigned over the land during a good portion of the first era of Olair's history with caution as she hid in the shadows, watching the dozens of human guards patrol the outside of the castle. Because of its previous owner's history, the land had become forbidden for anyone to enter without express permission from the shadow watchers.

Her eyes continued to search for an opening and when she saw it she made a break for a large crack in one of the castle walls. She followed the small passage way until it led to one of the main hallways in the castle. It looked about as ruined as the outside of the castle did, the statues lining it were either toppled over or unkept enough to where large chunks of marble were missing from them. The red carpet that lined the middle was a near brown color and the ground was also littered with fallen chandeliers.

She looked around to see if any of the guards happened to be inside but the area was devoid of any movement and she let out a sigh of relief as she started down the hallway, eyes passing over every possible object she could see. She kept her left habd on her sheathed sword in case any monsters were stalking the inside of the castle and continued her way towards the throne room.

Saya traced her path down the final hallway to the thbrone room that would grab the least attention by way of sound in case any of the guards were searching for intruders that may have broken into the castle under their watch. She slowly stepped over the sets of broken glass and crumbled rubble. She would stop her movement entirely if she heard even the smallest noise. "Wow this place is much more creepy then the tales give it credit for." She chuckled slightly under her breath finding it interesting that she still carried some fear from her childhood.

She stopped just before the large throne room doors. She cracked open the door with surprising ease and slipped one foot in only just before a haunting chill creeped down her back once a sudden hand grabbed her shoulder and pulled her back. She turned around quickly drawing her sword only to put it up to the neck of the head of the vampire royal guards, Lucas Azeal. "Azeal you oaf!" She withdrew her sword but had not caught herself on her own level of vocals. He seemed lessed than pleased about this as he dragged her out of the view of one of the many windows running down the hallway.
"Keep quiet before i just decide to turn you over to them and let your father deal with that humiliation." He spoke in a more sensitive tone than expected from someone of his stature. This caused Saya's eyes to light up with anger but she managed to lower her voice to a more acceptable level. "If you even try such a thing you will lose your position in the blink of an eye." She crossed her arms glaring at him. It was moments like this when she wished that Joanne was there, for Lucas wasn't ignorant enough to speak as such in front of another species leader.

With strong caution, she slowly entered the throne room with Lucas behind her. The air was musty, proving that the room itself had not been opened in years and the entirety of the room was covered in a heavy layer of dust and a maze of cobwebs. Though the room felt old but besides the two signs of age (dust and webs) nothing looked touched even by the hands of time. Great weapons lined both walls leading all the way to the throne which still looked to be in one piece though grey with layers of dirt. The strangeness caught them both off guard and both were hesitant to move forward at first. "How can a place left untouched for this long look like it hasn't aged as well?" Saya's voice echoed lightly through the room as she slowly moved forward.
"Could it be some kind of spell cast?" Lucas spoke questionably as he walked over to one of the weapons and wiped a layer of dust from the blade. At first all that this caused was a bright light to engulf the sword but in a flash of light the entire room quickly covered in a layer of glowing white light until the dust and cobwebs completely dissipated as the entire room came to life. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling lit with fire, becoming the new source of light for the room. The two stopped in their tracks and exchanged worried looks before Saya continued slowly towards the throne.

Erith had lead them into the capital of the land Asyl. Or at least Nyx had assumed that was were they were going. However it had turned out they were heading towards some ruins. From what Nyx could see some kind of old castle that had fallen into disrepair. During the trip Nyx had been silent only speaking when she needed to ask Giles something. She had no interest in her supposed half sister Erith. Actually her high and mighty attitude got under her skin. Nyx sighed and headed towards the castle having shortly woken up after the sun set. She left with Giles deciding to leave Erith behind for now not trusting her. Plus she just needed some time on her own. She looked along the wall and she spotted a hole in the wall. She made her way through with Giles following close behind. As she entered into the ruined hallway and she let out a low whistle. This place reminds me of some of the ruins I have explored. Including the touch of evil in the air. Giles nodded and spoke. Indeed my lady. I wonder what buisness your sister has hear. Whatever it is I do not trust it. Nyx nodded and replied. Yeah I agree. She does not seem the kind to just come to a place like this. Well unless if this were some plot line of a novel and she was the villain. If she were her goal would probably be find some kind of powerful ancient secret more than likely hidden in a place like the throne. Nyx said with a chuckle making motions with her right hand as the two walked and talked. While doing this she was also noting the architecture and the damage time had wreaked upon the old stone walls. The decor hinted that who ever had owned the castle back before it's ruination had been very important. Maybe it was the castle of some past ruler of Olair? While pondering all of this Nyx caught a light source up ahead and she looked at Giles and gave him a nod. She then touched a finger just below her eye and motioned to the large doors that were cracked open and had light pooling out of it. She would then raise her right hand in a clenched fist. Giles gave a nod for basically Nyx had signaled that they would be examining the room up ahead but be prepared in case of combat. Giles would then take both of his white gloves off and pocket them in his butler jacket pocket. The two would then slide through the opening and come upon the fully lit and what seemed to be a well kept throne room in an otherwise ruined castle. Nyx spotted two vampires ahead of her and raised her right hand to signal Giles they were halting. She would rather keep the distance from them at the moment in case they were not friendly so her and Giles would have the advantage. She would then call out to the two vampires. Well, well this may just be a novel. The two adventurers exploring a ruined castle find the throne room somehow well kept as if it was enchanted and indeed hiding some kind of secret. While entering those very adventurers find that they are not alone in exploring the ruins. So just who are you two? Nyx knew she would appear odd wearing a black oriental combat dress with a red bolero jacket while barefoot. Her red eyes seemed lit with humor while her raven black hair was in a ponytail. Then with Giles standing behind her would probably seem even odder due to her strange apparel while he kept one hand on his glasses. This would seem harmless but he was prepared to summon hollows wind when needed.
